How to reset a Socket mobile scanner?

  1. Power ON the scanner.
  2. Press and hold the scan button.
  3. Tap the power button once while continuing to press the scan button.
  4. Keep holding the scan button until you hear a beep and then release (about 15 seconds).
  5. Your scanner will beep 5 times and power off.

How to charge the Socket S720 scanner?

Follow the steps below to charge Socket S700, S720 or S740 scanners

  1. Plug in the USB cable and the scanner will beep twice.
  2. The scanner must be fully charged before first use. Please allow 8 hours uninterrupted charging for the initial battery charge.
  3. The scanner will stop charging once the battery is full (No overcharging occurs).

Amber Light = Charging /Green Light = Fully charged
