Press and hold the scan button.
Tap the power button once while continuing to press the scan button.
Keep holding the scan button until you hear a beep and then release (about 15 seconds).
Your scanner will beep 5 times and power off.

Follow the steps below to connect the Socket scanners via Bluetooth

Power on the scanner. Make sure the scanner is discoverable (unpaired and Bluetooth LED blinking)
Go to Settings > Bluetooth in the host device.
Make sure the Bluetooth is “On” and scan for devices.
In the list of found devices, tap S740 [xxxxxx] to Pair.
The scanner will connect to the host device.
The scanner will beep once after it has connected.

Follow the steps below to charge Socket S700, S720 or S740 scanners

Plug in the USB cable and the scanner will beep twice.
The scanner must be fully charged before first use. Please allow 8 hours uninterrupted charging for the initial battery charge.
The scanner will stop charging once the battery is full (No overcharging occurs).

Amber Light = Charging /Green Light = Fully charged
